Online play in Saskatchewan

The one legal site online

PlayNow.com is the only legal online gambling site in Saskatchewan. It is operated by SIGA, the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, and managed by Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan. Players must be 19 or older, the same legal gambling age that applies at the casino door. SIGA's online exclusivity runs to September 2029. PlayNow.com is a separate operation from the floor at Northern Lights, though SIGA runs both.

That exclusivity shapes the rest of the picture. Competing online casinos are not part of the arrangement. The Government of Saskatchewan calls them "illegal platforms". For readers in Prince Albert, legal online play comes down to one address: playnow.com.

What a private site does not have

SIGA Voluntary Self-Exclusion is requested at any SIGA casino and lasts from 6 months to 5 years. It bans the person from all nine Saskatchewan casinos, and nobody can enrol someone else. Game Break goes one step further and also covers PlayNow.com. Neither program blocks a private online casino. A private site has none of the province's player protections, so a ban arranged in Prince Albert does not reach it.

How Night Gate is paid

Night Gate is an independent guide, not a casino and not the casino's own site. It takes no bets and has no accounts.

Paid links appear on the home page only, and each is marked Ad. There are three: a button in the header, a block just below the first screen and one near the end of the page. All three lead to one private online casino partner, which pays Night Gate a commission and can change. It is not PlayNow.com and is not run by Northern Lights Casino or SIGA.
